Introduction to Medical Billing

As a Medical Billing student you will learn everything from A to Z about billing for Physicians in Doctor Offices, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Outsource Billing Offices, or anywhere else a doctor provides his or her services.  Our 325-hour Medical Billing program provides students with a wide variety of study in the medical field that combines theoretical and practical training.  This curriculum includes Medical Insurances, Inpatient and Outpatient Billing, Introduction to ICD-9 and CPT-4 Coding, Advanced ICD-9 and CPT-4 Coding, Patient Accounting, Managed Care, Medical Terminology, and Electronic Billing.

Medical Office Administration

Our Medical Office Administration program, commonly known as Medical Office Assistant, prepares the student to perform both administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of a physician.  This career-focused program of 1,200 hours, including extership, will maximize the student's potential in today's competitive job market.  We provide hands-on training that prepares you for the real world.  A student selecting this program will be able to obtain an entry-level position as a Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Biller, Patient Educator, or Clinical Assistant.  A career in Medical Assisting also opens the door to other exciting careers such as Physician Assistant, Physical Therapist, Medical Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, and more.
